I am Jason Townsend-Rogers, a graduate student at the College of Journalism & Communications at the University of Florida. I enjoy tennis, exercising, reading, writing, watching the news, and most of all playing video games! I also enjoy any forum that will allow me to combine my loves of gaming and politics into one area.
The basic goal of my blog is to report on news that centers on the video game industry. However, I also wish to highlight the various roles that video games play in our society. This will mean profiling the attempts made by government, the media and community officials to explain the roles of games to consumers. Whether that explanation is for good or ill will also be mentioned.
